Vaccination coverage survey after mass vaccination campaign (MVC) against measles in Béré, Daffra and Donomanga districts, Tandjile province, Chad, April-May 2023

The purpose of the study is to estimate the status of vaccination in the target population to provide lessons learned for better planning and implementation of prospective vaccination campaigns.

Impact The measles vaccination coverage was high in Béré (95%; 95% CI: 92-97%) and Daffra (97%, 95% CI: 95-99%) for children aged 6-119 months. Children aged 6-23 months (Béré: 93%, 95% CI: 84-97%; Daffra: 93%, 95% CI: 87-96%) had a slighter lower vaccination coverage than children aged 5-9 years (Béré 98%, 95% CI: 95-99%; Daffra: 97%, 95% CI: 95-99%).
